Identifing stress factors
Stress is the big deal of bipolar disorder. The way that we handle stress defines the quality of our life's. Ideally you would live a life free from stress, and in a way this is possible. Sadly the society we live on, forces us to take responsabilities , and for the ones of us that have decided to keep on doing a normal life with the standard responsabilities , which means , being an adult and being as independient as possible also means with the same responsabilities that any other adult would deal with in their normal life.
I don't have a magical way of handling stress , I have a job, I live on my own and I also have to deal with interpersonal relationships like everyone else.
Sometimes I wake up in a good mood, sometimes I don't. Lately I have been suffering from low back pain, which is pretty something that makes my life suck a little bit.
I know that this pain is probably related to something that stresses me but I haven't bren able to identify clearly. It may be related to my job probably but since I don't know exactly what is it that I have to change I cannot do it.
Sometimes the way we think could lead to pains in our body. Sometimes we expect too much from ourselves, and want to fix the world but this expectations are usually difficult to align with reality, in part because it involves making others see things the way you see it and this is particularly difficult in some way.
There is a inner feeling that we see reflected in the mirror when we day to ourselves, you could prove everyone that your ideas are great. But the thing is that people have their own goals and expectations and they may not value your ideas as important as you may see them.
I don't know what is the way out of this, but at least by writing my thoughts here, it may be as useful as when you go on therapy and you talk to your counselor,
Having your own self therapy tools and expressing your thoughts freely can be a relief sometimes.
